TECHNICAL ADVISORY NOTICE // REVISED: AUGUST 2026 // APPLICABLE TO ALL CAD & FEA DELIVERABLES

COMPUTATIONAL SIMULATION & PHYSICAL PROTOTYPING MANDATE

All digital CAD models, finite element simulations (FEA), kinematic models, and forming limit diagrams represent computational approximations. Physical prototype validation and empirical stress testing are strictly required prior to commercial production or deployment.

01

Nature of Digital CAD & FEA Simulation

The technical deliverables produced by MECVIAN Engineering—including 3D solid geometries, assembly kinematics, Von Mises stress models, sheet metal springback predictions, and draft angle verifications—are generated inside precision CAD/CAE environments (such as SOLIDWORKS, AutoForm, AutoCAD, PowerShape, and Forming Suite).

These virtual engineering artifacts are derived mathematically from theoretical physics, standard empirical material constitutive models, and the boundary condition assumptions supplied during project scoping.

02

Boundary Conditions & Client Input Parameters

Simulation accuracy is intrinsically bounded by the fidelity of the input data provided by the client, including but not limited to:

  • Yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, elongation curves, and hardening exponents ($n$-values) of raw materials.
  • Operational dynamic load cycles, shock impact vectors, and cyclic vibration harmonics.
  • Thermal operational extremes, heat dissipation rates, and ambient environmental conditions.
  • Tooling lubrication coefficients, friction factors, and hydraulic press tonnage characteristics.

MECVIAN does not independently audit raw metallurgical batch variations or unverified third-party component data sheets unless explicitly included in the project scope.

03

Mandatory Physical Testing & Quality Assurance

Prior to committing to mass tooling fabrication, volume stamping runs, or deploying mechanisms in safety-critical applications (such as automotive braking, powertrain transmission, aerospace structures, or pressure-containing vessels), the client is advised and required to perform:

Physical prototype fabrication (CNC machined / 3D additive test articles).
Destructive and non-destructive load & fatigue bench testing.
CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) geometric inspection against 2D GD&T.
Environmental thermal, corrosion, and vibration cycle certification.
04

Downstream Fabrication & Tooling Disclaimers

MECVIAN does not manufacture, machine, cast, or stamp physical hardware directly. We are not responsible for manufacturing defects arising from machine tool inaccuracies, worn press guides, incorrect heat-treatment hardness, inadequate EDM wire calibration, or operator error at the client's chosen fabrication facility.

05

Regulatory & Statutory Approvals

Compliance with statutory industrial standards (such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, CE marking, DOT, or OSHA machinery safeguards) for commercial sale remains the legal responsibility of the client entity bringing the physical product to market.
