Cookie & Local Telemetry Policy
TECHNICAL PRIVACY SPECIFICATION // REVISED: AUGUST 2026 // ZERO THIRD-PARTY AD TRACKING
ZERO INVASIVE THIRD-PARTY ADVERTISING TRACKERS
MECVIAN does not deploy cross-site advertising pixels, behavioral marketing beacons, data broker scripts, or invasive tracking cookies.
What Are Cookies & Local Storage Tokens?
Cookies and local browser storage (HTML5 `localStorage` and `sessionStorage`) are small text or state tokens stored on your device when you interact with the MECVIAN digital portal. They allow the interface to remember your visual settings, maintain smooth 60fps animations, and ensure a seamless CAD browsing experience across pages.
Telemetry & Storage Tokens We Utilize
We utilize strictly functional and technical storage tokens essential for portal mechanics:
Stores your visual mode preference ("dark" or "light") to prevent theme reload flicker before the initial DOM paint.
Remembers your audio synthesizer preferences (mechanical clicks, haptic blips, and hover feedback) across page transitions.
Controls smooth vertical momentum scrolling and kinematic step-locking frames without storing identifying personal data.
Managing & Clearing Browser Storage
You can clear or block cookies and local storage tokens at any time through your browser settings:
- Chrome / Edge: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies > Clear site data.
- Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
Note: Clearing local storage will reset your active dark/light mode preference and audio synthesizer settings to their default states.
