ABSOLUTE CAD & IP CONFIDENTIALITY GUARANTEE
MECVIAN strictly enforces zero commercial monetization, resale, or third-party distribution of client CAD geometry, engineering drawings, calculation packages, or FEA simulation meshes.
Scope & Data Controller
This Privacy & Data Confidentiality Policy governs the collection, processing, storage, and transfer of engineering specifications, personal data, and proprietary 3D mechanical geometry by MECVIAN Engineering ("we," "our," or "the Lab").
When you engage MECVIAN for custom CAD modeling, progressive die architecture, finite element simulation, or mechanical consultation, we act as both Data Controller for commercial contact credentials and Data Processor/Custodian for your proprietary engineering assets.
Categories of Information Collected
We do not collect unnecessary consumer tracking identifiers, biometric data, or unrelated consumer browsing data.
Intellectual Property Ownership & Automatic Title Transfer
MECVIAN operates under a strict "Work-for-Hire / Complete Title Transfer" engineering protocol. All derivative outputs generated under a paid engineering agreement—including parametric solid CAD models, surface geometry, progressive stamping die layouts, CAM exports, FEA stress matrices, and ASME Y14.5 manufacturing drawings—become the 100% exclusive intellectual property of the client immediately upon milestone settlement.
MECVIAN retains no residual claim, royalty rights, or licensing encumbrance on client components or downstream manufactured physical parts.
Storage Architecture, Encryption & Air-Gapped Security
To maintain defense-grade engineering confidentiality, client data is protected under modern multi-tier protocols:
- Encryption at Rest & Transit: All CAD files and cloud exchanges use AES-256 and TLS 1.3 encryption protocols.
- Air-Gapped Workstations: Sensitive simulation and die architecture projects are handled on dedicated offline CAD engineering workstations.
- Access Control: Only assigned mechanical engineers bound by individual NDAs have project-level repository access.
- Retention Schedules: Archived CAD artifacts are permanently wiped or transferred offline following formal project sign-off.
Bilateral Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
Prior to receiving any confidential trade secrets, physical prototypes, or proprietary engineering blueprints, MECVIAN executes standard or corporate-custom mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
Our confidentiality obligations remain in effect indefinitely or for the duration specified in your bilateral corporate agreement.
International Data Transfers & Compliance
As MECVIAN provides engineering services to enterprise clients globally across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, all cross-border communications comply strictly with standard contractual clauses (SCCs) and GDPR/CCPA data privacy benchmarks.
